We all remember the dramatic chipmunk that was really a prairie dog. There have been about a million spinoffs in the form of kittens, babies, and various movie-soundtrack montages. But this one is too much. I swear someone has that five-second melody on a tape recorder and dubs it over everything they watch.

Pop had an unexpected Beckham sighting yesterday at One Market in San Francisco. The whole clan was out to lunch. The weather was wonderful, the boys couldn't have been happier, and Becks was as yummy as can be - but someone seemed a little on edge . . . (And The Dramatic Chipmunk would be proud.)

Tay Zonday and his big chocolate ego won't shut up, Tron Guy won't sit down, The Dramatic Chipmunk really needs to chill, and can someone get that sneezing panda a friggin' tissue? This little guy holding the tiniest bok choy I've ever seen needs some practice being more dramatic, but, in due time, he'll get the moves down just right. (Here's a hint, ham: You gotta move your head more than a microcentimeter to fully express the drama.)

This "Big-Eyed Guy" appears to be Russia's answer to the Dramatic Chipmunk. At a recent Vladimir Putin news conference, an angry young man threw out propaganda leaflets.
