Remember Veruca Salt from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, "I want it now, Daddy!" Sure, getting what you want is great in theory, but you probably end up with more enemies than friends with that kind of mentality. That's what compromise is for; however, some people compromise their own needs so often that they end up being considered more of a pushover than just easy going.

I want me some of Conan's cable box. From "The Way-Too-Honest Home Shopping Network" channel to "The Too Demanding In Bed" channel, it offers the finest in home entertainment without all the fluff, special effects, or realistic plot lines. I'm already sold, so where do I sign up?

Fans heading to South Africa for the World Cup 2010 are interested in more than soccer. Anticipating that sport tourists will frequent prostitutes while they're in town, health experts are calling on the South African government to legalize prostitution for the tournament. The hope is that testing and registering legal sex workers will reduce HIV infections among visiting fans and South Africans alike.

Of course wearing a piece of metal around your finger won't guarantee fidelity, but it will tell the world that you're spoken for. When I get married, I certainly want my husband to wear a ring, but what about you?

Talking about your sexually transmitted diseases with your sexual partner may be difficult and awkward. Not only can it seem accusatory and make you look non-trusting, it's pretty gross and embarrassing. It can make you feel dirty, scared and sexually unattractive.

The list the "relationship correspondent" came up with is awesomely and unintentionally funny, as is the accompanying article. Of course, the writer points out that she's not talking about "the stereotypical, garden-variety, hairy-armpit feminist."
