This charming fellow Bobby arrived in the mail for Future Girl and I bet she was happy about it! If you'd like to get a one-of-a-kind handmade plushy toy, go to Etsy's Adopt-A-Critters site. This is a face that only a weirdo could love, and I know I am a weirdo.
Cast your vote now! Is it the Kohona Sphynx Cat? The Naked Mole Rat?
Animated Hitch Critters (they also come in bass, dog, hog and duck form) are supposed to "give your trailer hitch a sense of humor," "provide a third brake light for added traffic safety" and maybe even start conversations with other riders. I wonder, though, how many accidents this thing has gotten people into as they strain their eyes to figure out what that flashing, waving thing is hitched to the back of the car in front of them. It's only a matter of time.
The Pygmy Jerboa (no, that is not a Pixar creation) is a small jumping desert rodent found in Asia and northern Africa. It looks like a cross between a chick and a mouse, has a long tufted tail and, as you can see, long hind legs. My favorite detail about this weird little critter?
Welcome to TrèsSugar, the smart, sexy, and fun new addition to the Sugar Network. I’m here to scout out what's going on in the world of politics, culture, and sex and where they intersect. I want to share what I find and have you join the conversation — strong opinions and open minds are always welcome.
Man, I loved this little guy. We all quickly discovered that he wasn't a chipmunk after all, but rather a prairie dog, but by that time, the name had stuck. Check out the multiple spin-offs this one silly critter spawned.
I bet this little critter would be tasty with some relish and mustard!

Lion-Hearted Leo Has Courage Licked
Or you can read my alternate headline: "OMG: Leo the Dog Saves Baby Kittens From Fire!!!" (This is why I'm not in the headline-writing business.) Picture this: A house is ablaze, and seven members of the family (save one brave dog and four helpless kittens) are outside screaming for firefighters to save the little critters. What should they find but valiant Leo the Jack Russell mix watching over the kittens in spite of the smoke and heat that surrounded him.
Because I'm a nice person, I made this picture small. Ladies and Gentlemen, meet the bedbug that might just be hitching a ride back from your far-flung vacation destinations. Think I'm bugging out?
