I'm not sure how I missed this, but better late than never! Even dressed like a putz and dancing like a goof, Paul Rudd is ridiculously charming and sexy. And Jon Stewart seems to have a total bromantic crush on him. (I guess sometimes opposites don't attract). Later in the interview, Jon says they're both "pear-shaped." Hahaha!

Meet Jan Terri, Gemini and all-around amazing performer. Jan has many interesting traits, aside from her ability to groove and lipsynch like her life depends on it. For example, she thinks blue-eyed blondes are rare, and she has a quirky take on the notion of opposites. "I'm a Gemini," she says thoughtfully. "There's two sides to me: straight, and normal." Oh, man. President Obama had better remind Joe Biden that he's vice president now and not doing corny stand-up at Caroline's Comedy Club. Last week while swearing in the senior staff members, VP Biden made a joke about his memory not being as good as Chief Justice John Robert’s. (You remember him, the guy who flubbed the inaugural oath during Obama's swearing-in ceremony.) Whoops. Inappropriate. Jon Stewart, of course, is there to mock Biden, and to introduce us to a face I hope we don't see a lot of: Obama's STFU face. Eek!

So that's why CNN's Anderson Cooper went to ~~DePauw~~ De Paw University for the Puppedential Debates, where Princess, Rags, and Mr. Skittles duked it out for this coveted spot. Absolutely ridiculous, but I agree with the final decision . . .

CNN Launches Comedy News Show - Warn Colbert?

CNN Headline News isn't always full of laughs - at least not on purpose anyway - but they're taking a look at the Colbert Report's success and hopping in the ring. Not Just Another Cable News Show premieres April 5, according to the network. They say, "it's an entertaining way to recall some of the more memorable moments captured on video." The 30-minute show will air Saturdays at 7 p.m. ET, followed by News to Me, a series that shows hot Web videos.

Are you into watching this? I'm still a little burned by Fox News', 1/2 Hour Comedy Hour. . .

What to Name Super Tuesday?

Mother-in-Law Can't Take a Joke, Sues Comedian

Well, a comedian who just happens to be her daughter-in-law!

It sounds like the beginning of a bad joke, but comedian Sunda Croonquist’s mother-in-law Ruth Zafrin was not kidding when she filed a lawsuit against Sunda for telling so many jokes about her. Croonquist capitalizes on their ethnic differences in her envelope-pushing jokes - she is half-black and half-Swedish, was raised Catholic, and married into a Jewish family.

A typical joke goes something like this. On a first visit to her mother-in-law Ruthie’s house, Croonquist says, "I walk in, I say, 'Thank you so much for having me here, Ruthie.' 'The pleasure’s all mine,' she replies, 'have a seat.' Then she whispers, 'Harriet, put my pocketbook away.'"

Zafrin filed the lawsuit (along with her daughter and her daughter's husband), when material on Croonquist's website made it easy for people to figure out the in-laws' identities. Croonquist is accused of "spreading false, defamatory and racist lies" in comedy club routines that have even been aired on Comedy Central. Croonquist agreed to remove any offensive comments on her website but refused to pay a settlement. (Her husband's law firm is handling her case. Awkward!)

Zafrin isn't exactly giving mother-in-laws a good name. It seems that there would've been a less alienating way of handling this, like, say, asking Croonquist to cut it out! Who do you think is in the wrong?
