Poor Rush Limbaugh. The Democrats are anointing him the true leader of the Republican Party, opening him to ridicule from the left and repudiation from the right. So this dude stepped in to save the frail and demure flower that is Rush, borrowing a page from Chris Crocker's impassioned and hysterical plea for us to "Leave Britney alone!" I wonder if it will work.

Hillary Clinton is the new. . . Britney Spears? According to this homage to the weirdly famous "Leave Britney Alone!" video, yes. This brand new vid is not without its share of fair points, but I'm starting a fund to get the young man some teleprompter lessons. Let 'er rip!

Imitation is the sincerest form of too much time on one's hands? I have to say I missed the tears and the eyeliner of the first, but maybe that'll come out in the director's cut. I don't know, I think it kind of worked! "She's not right, right now!" I love me some Hillary, but I giggled.

Of course, every Internet superstah we've ever ridiculed and enjoyed is up in that joint, waiting to be compensated for the humiliation and exploitation that comes with virtual fame. Tay Zonday and his big chocolate ego won't shut up, Tron Guy won't sit down, The Dramatic Chipmunk really needs to chill, and can someone get that sneezing panda a friggin' tissue? I know I have to justify my continued coverage of Chris Crocker--so here's the rationale. Unlike Paris and Nicole, two people who have done virtually nothing to get fame, girlfriend here has been working his well-toned buns off to get media attention. Call him a ho, if you must, but it's the American way. Unless you live in the United States of Britney, as CC does...(BTW, CC is looking even more like Avril Lavigne here!)

Chris is a little crocked, no doubt about it, but he's starting to grow on me. Any guy who says that PMS stands for "permanently mentally stable" and invites women everywhere to complain every day is a friend of mine. Now I know why he was defending Britney against her detractors. He's a friend to women on the edge of a nervous breakdown, and what woman in her right mind wouldn't love a guy like that?!
