Four hours north of LA exists a cat heaven called <a href="http://www.cathouseonthekings.com/" target="_blank">Cat House on the Kings</a>. Run by a non-crazy cat lady who is crazy for cats, Cat House on the Kings is a non-profit, no-kill, no cage shelter for cats (and a few dogs) to roam free (inside and outside). They're up for adoption, but if no one does so they're free to hang out forever. And what animal wouldn't want to stay there? The wonderful Lynea Lattanzio has been trained as a vet, has ten feeding stations inside and outside, and just freaking loves animals.
