In a recent interview, actress Cameron Diaz discussed how her parents' 39-year-marriage contributed to her success. She explained:

"It's a bond that is so true, so pure, and so powerful, it is the most beautiful and inspiring thing that I have ever witnessed - the eternal love that my mom and dad shared. It was what has given me the strength and courage to live this extraordinary life and it is what powers the light that burns inside of me."

Cameron's comments about her parents are totally sweet! But since everyone's family is different, I'm curious: do you credit your life successes to your parents or have you had to overcome a complicated family situation?

Cameron Diaz has been full of smiles these days, thanks to her new beau Paul Sculfor. But since celebrities are constantly being photographed, it's easy to make assumptions that their beaming appearance is due to that special someone. But just as people say pregnant people glow, those newly in love often really do have it written all over their face. Does this notion ring true for you? When you're truly happy, does it shine through from the inside out?

Yesterday Defamer posted a video of Brooke (child o' Hulk) Hogan at the VMAs. She didn't know who Sarah Palin was and her excuse was that she's just been sooo busy. Sigh. What I couldn't help noticing (besides her ignorance) is that she's looking more and more like Cameron Diaz! Thoughts?

Would You Attend a Family Funeral of an Ex?

Two of Cameron Diaz's ex-boyfriends - Justin Timberlake and John Mayer - attended the memorial service for Cameron's father held this weekend. Maybe they just wanted to support her or maybe they had a good relationship with her dad, either way I found the news rather touching.

Sometimes it's important for exes to put aside their differences during tough times. I definitely have some ex-boyfriends who I would reach out to if they had a death in the family. I've also built relationships with exes' family members, especially their parents, whose funerals I would want to attend if tragedy struck.

What about you? Do you have exes who you'd want to be there for if they had a death in the family? And how would you feel if an ex did the same for you?

Cameron revealed a hidden talent while appearing on Leno a few months back. I can't say I'm surprised that Cam's got this skill up her sleeve. She seems to be the fun-loving, "let loose" type. I'm just surprised she got the job done with the whole world watching. Now this is the mark (or sound?) of a true pressure player!

Poor Cameron. She recently made an appearance on Japanese TV to promote Shrek The Third and was subjected to swamp inspired sushi, an escort with drawn-on facial hair, and some woman's mention of her sex(less) life. Luckily, Cameron's a trooper and has that winning smile to fall back on when things get a little too uncomfortable. (Thanks, Best Week Ever!)

GS: What’s your motto?
RK: My motto is simple: Be happy, drink beer.

GS: Where are you from?
RK: Originally, I am from Martinez, California aka "Home of the Martini." Now I live in Livermore, California with all the other "Livermorons." I'll never leave the Bay Area!

GS: What do you do?
RK: I wake up every morning to be a slave to my 6-year-old daughter and 4-year-old son. Then I go to bed. Repeat.

GS: How would you describe your sense of humor?
RK: I'm not sure how to describe it. I tell it like it is, and somehow it comes out funny. Most of everything I say comes from my everyday life. Apparently, most things that seem to happen to me are hilarious to everyone else. I guess you could call it, "Mommy who hasn't much to do makes light of potty humor!"

GS: What’s your favorite GiggleSugar post?
RK: What the Hell Is Going on Here is great! I love coming up with captions for whacked out pictures!

GS: Who’s the cutest funny man and funny woman?
RK:There are a ton of funny men to choose from, but not so many women! Vince Vaughn is the easy choice for me. The poor guy isn't aging as well as I would have hoped, but I still have a mushy spot in my heart for him. As for the lady . . . I'll go with Cameron Diaz. She's pretty funny in most of the stuff she does.

GS: Who are your favorite male and female comedians?
RK: Christopher Titus! I'll always be mad at Fox for canceling his show. And the given: Ellen DeGeneres. Has anybody NOT said her yet? The woman is awesome.

GS: What’s your favorite comedy of all time?
RK:Office Space! From the opening traffic scene to the beat down of the fax machine, it's just sooooo funny. Anybody who has ever had an office job can relate. I'm just mad I didn't think of the "Jump to Conclusions" doormat first!

GS: If your life were a comedy, what would it be?
RK: Married With Children. Except my husband sells floors, not shoes. Although, I wish he did sell shoes, I would personally be getting a much better deal out of it!

GS: Do you look like someone famous?
RK: I've been told that I look like Drew Barrymore since I was about five. However, the homeboy that works at Ross swears that I look like Marilyn Monroe. I wish!

Radar Kitty Free-for-All: My girlfriends consider me the "comedian" of our group, and encourage me to do something about it, but I am way to shy for that. I could never get up in front of a crowd of people that I don't know and hope they might think of me as funny. Places like GiggleSugar suit me just fine! I'm a pretty simple girl, my husband always says I was a cheap date. All he needed to give me was a Hot Pocket and some beer and I was a happy camper. This still applies, as we are celebrating our 8th anniversary this year! I am a big Oakland Raiders/San Francisco Giants fan . . . which shows my sense of humor all by itself. And if you didn't know, I love Kiefer Sutherland. Mainly because he likes beer! Just kiddin'. Eye-wink

Dear Poll: Do Celebs Have a Right to Fight Back?

We hear about celebrities yelling at the paparazzi all the time. Just this week it was Seal giving them a piece of his mind, but Cameron Diaz has done it and Justin Timberlake has too. Even Hugh Grant has made his opinion known, loud and clear. Whenever I see the shutterbugs swarming celebrities, I always feel badly for them. Sure, paparazzi comes with the territory, but when is enough, enough? Famous faces can't even grab a bite to eat without flashes practically blinding them!

I may sound like a softy, but I feel like everyone has a right to privacy. What's your take on this touchy subject? It seems that most people have no sympathy for celebrities, so do you think they have a right to fight back at the media, call them names, even let matters get physical every once in a while to protect themselves?
