Ladies and gents, I give you the bubble gum blowing pro. She blows the biggest bubbles around, and then blows bubbles inside those bubbles - madness much? But seriously, the woman chews on a big ol' wad of Bubbleyum, blows a 50-some-odd-centimeter bubble, and can't crack a smile? That's effed up.

Product of the Day: Bologna Bubble Gum

If you're going to make a gum look this awesome, why not go all the way and make it taste like bologna, too! It's a cop-out to make this stuff "fruit-flavored." I'm very disappointed. (I just found out it's discontinued! Maybe they're back in the labs trying to make it bologna-flavored. Let's cross our fingers. . .)

Troopers Riding in Big Rigs to Nab Drivers: Smart or Sneaky?

Over a two days this week, Oregon State Police and sheriffs (perhaps better known by their CB radio code, "Boy Scouts") hitched a ride with big-rig truckers on the hunt for aggressive drivers who wouldn't suspect a "Smokey" ride along and wouldn't have time to "brush their teeth and comb their hair" (shout out for a radar trap ahead.)

Leaving the "bubble gum machine" (cop car) at home, the troopers were able to nab 38 drivers in just two days. From their shotgun perches, most of the drivers were ticketed for driving over a "double nickel" (55 mph) and never saw it coming.

The ODOT safety manager says "Research shows that most truck vs. car crashes could be avoided if drivers knew how to steer clear of unsafe situations. With this campaign, we hope to increase awareness, encourage safer driving practices and make a positive change in the risky driving behaviors of motorists - all of which will lead to fewer crashes, fatalities, and injuries on Oregon's roadways."

Is planting troopers in a big rig a creative solution - or a little bit like a speed trap taken too far?

Where Did We Go Wrong?

The following vid features two scantily-clad divas bouncing for themselves (and Internet thrill seekers worldwide) in a mirror with a web cam rolling. The net has become a breeding ground for public displays of shameless narcissism, so big whoop - right? What I find so disturbing is that these BFFs look like they could be popping bubble gum and passing notes in junior high. Despite their obvious youth, the vid is now viral and everyone is watching. Is Internet popularity compelling these underage chicks to flaunt their goods? Or something else? I want to know: Where did we go wrong?

Well I have, and there is nothing worse than facing the public with bad breath so here are some tips to make sure you leave with fresh breath even if you don't have a toothbrush!

Be sure to drink a lot of water. Dehydration can give you bad breath so be proactive and stay hydrated
If you just ate, rinse and swirl some bubbly water around in your mouth to get rid of any lingering food particles in your teeth or the back of your tongue
Certain foods actually cleanse your teeth so stick to apples, oranges, celery, cucumber, and lettuce if you won't be able to brush your teeth after a meal. Parsley and mint are great herbal fixes to getting fresh breath, but don't swallow them, just chew
If you have toothpaste, but no brush, use your finger! It's not the best method, but it's better than nothing
Flossing is crucial for fresh breath so even if you don't have your toothbrush with you, floss if possible
Always keep gum or mints in your purse but make sure they are sugar free as the sugar can feed bacteria on your tongue
