Nearly two decades ago, he was an ordinary white rapper trying to make a name for himself in the business and this homemade music vid was his ticket to fame - or it was supposed to be. Eighteen years later, the vid went viral on the Internet and our average (middle-aged) homeboy is now back to bank on his 15 minutes of fame. Denny Blazin' Hazen hasn't changed one bit. . .

A few of you were puzzled yesterday when taking our Valentine's Day giveaway quiz: who the blaze is Blazin' Hazen? Well - long story short - he was a wannabe rapper in 1990 when he made the following demo. He may have already been an Internet sensation by the time we found him, but we like to think of him as our very own. He's a homeboy, def. But "average"? Hardly.

GS: What is your motto?
JV: When in Rome.....Click it or Ticket.

GS: Where are you from?
JV: I am half from Atlanta and half from Northern, Central, and Southern Ohio.

GS: What do you do?
JV: I am the #1 Flight Attendant in the Universe. This is a true story. I am sure you have heard about it.

GS: How would you describe your sense of humor?
JV: I think I have a dry sense of humor, however, I also enjoy a good fart joke....so I have the sense of a humor of a 12 year old boy.

GS: What's your fave GiggleSugar post?
JV: I LOVE "Average Homeboy" Blazin Hazen....he deserves many medals and ribbons for his bravery and talent.

JV: Jimmy Fallon and Amy Poehler.

GS: If your life were a comedy, what would it be?
JV: I don't think the comedy has been written to describe my life. It is a true story and it MUST be told, maybe I will write it so I can win even MORE awards and medals.

JV: I am a dead ringer for Alyssa Milano. I mean, our baby pics. So like 27 years ago, we could have been twins.

When I discovered this ad for an instructional white boy dance video, my favorite rhythmically challenged "Average Homeboy" of all time came to mind- none other than Danny Blazin' Hazen. In fact, I'm wondering if he jacked a few of his white boy shuffle skillz from this how-to video...because that "double squat, spin, clap, and point" move is looking awfully familiar.
