The stars came out to celebrate Bill Clinton's 65th birthday and 10 years of his Clinton Foundation last night in Hollywood. Celebrities like Jessica Alba and Sofia Vergara enjoyed performances by huge acts, including Usher, Lady Gaga, Kenny Chesney, The Edge, and Bono. For her performance, Lady Gaga decided to remake her "Bad Romance" into a "Bill Romance," and Bill, as well as Chelsea and Hillary, was clearly amused in the audience. Before she kicked off her song, Gaga said, "I am having my first Marilyn moment - I always wanted to have one. And I was hoping that it didn't involve an accident with some pills and a strand of pearls, so here we are." She went on to serenade the former pres in a nude body suit and blond bombshell wig. Former President Bill Clinton stopped by Letterman last night to share thoughts on a whole range of topics, from his foundation to the Occupy Wall Street movement. Bill Clinton will be celebrating 10 years of the William J. Clinton Foundation and the $10 billion it's raised for HIV/AIDS treatment and feeding the hungry on Saturday at the Hollywood Bowl. He's pulling out all the stops, inviting big-named stars and supporters, including Lady Gaga. Last night the ex-pres said she won't be wearing a meat dress, however, since he is a vegan after all. He was nearly 50. She was only 22. He was a powerful man who should have known better. She was just an intern. Yet, no one seems to remember Bill Clinton's indiscretions in the Oval Office while Monica Lewinsky's name is forever connected to the sex scandal.

Other women have overcome sex scandals to win the attention, if not complete admiration, of Americans. Kim Kardashian had a sex tape, but we've come to also associate her name with her TV shows, perfumes, and a fashion line. Monica, now 38, hasn't made the transition; although, she tried her hand at endorsing handbags and Jenny Craig. The spotlight was harsh to Monica, so perhaps she decided to avoid it after such public humiliation. But 13 years after the scandal broke - that's right, 13! - Monica is still not safe from tabloid takedowns, the latest one calling her a "social pariah" who can't get her projects off the ground or find a man. No mention of the fact that Monica lived in London for a while and got a masters in social psychology.

Meanwhile, the latest news on 65-year-old Bill Clinton centers around his newfound vegan lifestyle or charity work. As a former and successful president, Bill Clinton's legacy surely encompasses much more than the poor judgement he displayed with Monica, but it's striking how Bill's image has completely survived the scandal while Monica's has been completely dominated by it. Bill Clinton Knew How to Network at an Early Age

Although networking can reap rewards for your career progression and job hunt, it's not always easy. In fact, it's a skill that requires a lot of dedication and time. Business Insider featured an excerpt from Never Eat Alone, written by Keith Ferrazzi, which talks about how Bill Clinton took networking seriously even when he was still in college:

[While] a Rhodes Scholar at Oxford University, he met a graduate student named Jeffrey Stamps at a party. Clinton promptly pulled out a black address book.

"What are you doing here at Oxford, Jeff?" he asked.

"I'm at Pembroke on a Fulbright," Jeff replied. Clinton penned "Pembroke" into his book, then asked about Stamps's undergraduate school and his major.

"Bill, why are you writing this down?" asked Stamps.

"I'm going into politics and plan to run for governor of Arkansas, and I'm keeping track of everyone I meet," said Clinton.

Taking notes shows a lot of commitment to networking. Although you don't have to be as extreme as Bill Clinton and write down a person's details on an index card while you're in front of them, you can do something similar by scribbling notes at the end of the day and saving it as a word document or writing details on the back of the business cards people give you.

Hillary Clinton dreamed about winning the title of madame president, but she'd more eagerly welcome another one: grandma. According to Bill, at least. When asked what he'd like to accomplish in the next decade, the former president had this to say:

“I would like to have a happy wife. And she won’t be unless she’s a grandmother. It's something she wants more than she wanted to be president."

Talk about pressure for Chelsea, who just got married last year! It's a bit off-putting to picture a power woman like Hillary as the grandchild-pressuring mom. Still, I find it sweet that she values her family so much. What do you make of Bill's comments?
