Dear Sugar,
I am having problems getting over my ex. We broke up a year ago, and I still hold on to serious feelings for him. We dated for nine months and we had a great relationship; he treated me incredibly well and was an amazing boyfriend.

Earlier this week, Rush Limbaugh taunted the Republican leadership, contending that President Obama had more to fear from Rush, than from them. In an interview with Politico, Congressman Tom Price, who leads the Republican Study Committee, came back with some tough words for Rush: It’s easy if you’re Sean Hannity or Rush Limbaugh or even sometimes Newt Gingrich to stand back and throw bricks. You don’t have to try to do what’s best for your people and your party.

This is an odd story, the mysterious disappearance of an SNL sketch on the Bailout. Since $700 billion is pretty big doin's, naturally the Lampooners in Chief wanted to get in on the action — regardless of whether Congressional hearings/press conferences lend themselves to comedy (uh, they don't.) The sketch trained a carefully pointy eye on the possible Democratic roots of the Bailout plan.
Why then has the sketch, which skewered everyone from the 99th richest person in the world, George Soros to philanthropists Herb and Marion Sandler, disappeared?

Remember when we were all waiting for the magical text message to come? Cozy memories, right? And then we all found out Obama's VP pick was Joe Biden and then the Palin train came to town, and well .

It's a big day for guns in the news: new Georgia laws go into effect allowing residents to carry concealed weapons into parks, restaurants, and onto public transportation, and in Florida, employees and customers will now be able to conceal firearms on private property if locked in a car. Then there's this story: Joe Horn, a 62-year-old Texan has been cleared by a grand jury yesterday after he fatally shot two men he suspected of burglarizing his next-door neighbor's home.
Horn's case has sparked controversy between those who think he acted illegally and recklessly, and those who praise his swift action.

There are political parties — and then there are political parties. This Georgie Is Outta Here party box is decidedly the latter. Complete with all of the goodies you'd need for a party — cups, balloons, Dick Cheney party hats, a Pin the Tail game of questionable taste, it's all there.

While Americans exercise their right to vote, you can get prepared for the results. Sadly, we won't have Tim Russert to walk us through it all this year. Barack Obama supporters can start feeling relieved if their candidate wins either Ohio, Virginia, North Carolina, or Florida.

After being unemployed for several months, my boyfriend finally landed the job he'd been pining for. To welcome him to the firm, his co-workers planned a happy hour at a pub nearby. My boyfriend invited me to join so I agreed to meet them after I left work.

Three seniors in Bloomington, MN, missed walking in their graduation last night as punishment for displaying the Confederate flag on their trucks. For displaying the flag, the three were suspended from all school activities including their own graduation ceremony.
"The Confederate flag is a symbol of, in some cases, hatred, bigotry and it has the potential to create a very disruptive environment," said a spokesperson for the Bloomington School District, on the decision to punish the three.
