The witches of popular culture come in all different varieties. There are the truly scary witches, like the queen in Snow White and the Wicked Witch of the West in The Wizard of Oz, the harmless witches, like Samantha from Bewitched and Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and the mischievous witches, like Endora from Bewitched. To get in the spooky spirit just in time for Halloween, tell me which famous witch has you under a spell!
On more than one occasion, I've imagined what song would make the perfect soundtrack for a moment I'm currently living. One of my friends' favorite party topics is who would play us in our hypothetical biopics. We are a pop-culture obsessed culture, comparing our realities to that of reality TV stars and voraciously devouring VH1 specials and The Soup.
Dear E. Jean,

E. Jean is still enjoying her time off, but don't fret, she'll be back December 4th! In the meantime, here's an oldie but goodie.
Remember fake Darrin (Bewitched) and fake Jan (Brady Bunch)? The Onion's AV Club reminded me of what they called "jarring cases of recast roles" in sitcoms. So I dug up this gem of a video — "fake Jan" on a short-lived (and ill-conceived) Brady Bunch variety hour.

Burned at the stake isn't just an ancient expression. Nineteen people have just been arrested in Kenya in connection with the burning of 11 people accused of being witches — this week.
A police spokesman said those arrested may not have been involved in the killings but possibly incited the attacks.

JHuck is not afraid to be goofy, and that's why we at GiggleSugar appreciate her. She has a snarky and funny comment for just about everything, and how can you not adore someone whose avatar appears to be a ham sandwich with olives for eyes?!
