new $23 million initiative to help Congolese refugees. The short, "Gimme Shelter" is set to the classic Rolling Stones song used with permission, and was shot last month when
Affleck made a trip to visit refugee camps in the Congo. From here, the film will be released worldwide to help raise awareness about UNHCR and the needs of the 1.3 million displaced people in the area.

I can't finish watching that video.
1To think that $23 million dollars to some celebs is nothing.
So sad.
I dont like the use of the song, I dont think its the right one. ( I think of the movie "casino" everytime i hear it)
Its a powerful video True, but what is the solution?
2I think it is a good video in making people see how maaaaaaany people are suffering. A little help doesn't do much good, since there are millions of people in danger.
That is a pretty big deal that he got to go before the UN. I hope his message got through!
3I thought it was well done but I wish he had stayed on individual faces longer - and for the rape statistics, I would have used the numbers rather than 2 out of 3 and I would have added that once they've been raped, many of the victims are rejected by their husbands.
4I think it puts our problems in perspective.
