This is an oldie--before the Beckhams took over Los Angeles--but it proves that Posh and Becks are a pretty adorable couple (Posh's robotic tendencies notwithstanding.) They're good sports about Ali G's merciless off-color teasing, and it's true--Becks' voice does not match his look! (Notice how they lean away from Ali G as far as they can!)

Glenn Beck is all over the place these days, which means either his overdramatic performance speaks to Americans or that people love to watch a train wreck, or both!

This week the New York Times called Beck "Fox News’s mad, apocalyptic, tearful rising star." Salon turned Beck's broadcasts into poems. One reads: "Believe in something. Even if it's wrong."

Yesterday on Morning Joe, fellow conservative Joe Scarborough pondered whether Glenn Beck is really parodying Stephen Colbert parodying Bill O'Reilly. If so - no wonder Beck's show is number two on Fox. Colbert and O'Reilly are ratings machines.

By now we all know that Glenn Beck is a little extreme in his rhetoric. Well yesterday he took his impersonation of President Obama to the next level. The Fox News host imitated the president by pouring "gasoline" on an "average American." The manic metaphor was supposed to explain that Barack Obama is setting the American public on fire by apologizing to the "Frenchy French," sort of bowing to the King of Saudi Arabia, hinting toward a change in Cuban policy, taking on immigration, and pushing through his budget. Beck said Obama was "spending money that leads only to slavery."

Take a look, it gets extra intense toward the end, and tell me what you make of it?

I had to look this loser up to find out who would be so rude as to ask a young female editor, who's talking about AI Antonella Barba's internet nudie pics, whether she'd like him to film her some time. Libertarian Bob Barr: Why You're Not Wasting Your Vote

Bob Barr, who served as a Republican Congressman from Georgia from 1995-2003 and spearheaded the impeachment of Bill Clinton, is the Libertarian party's nominee for US president. As tiff58 pointed out yesterday, Barack Obama and John McCain are not the only people running for president.

Barr argues that a vote for a major party candidate is a wasted vote. He elaborated on Glenn Beck, explaining that a vote for John McCain or Barack Obama "is a vote for the establishment [...] a vote for business as usual" and that the system is never going to change if we keep voting for the lesser of two evils.

Barr says he left the GOP because they became obsessed with reelection and ignored principle. He says George W. Bush stands proudly "before the American people and says 'yes I violated the law, but I violated it for you.'"
