Man Gets DWI After Riding Motorized Cooler

Folks are always trying to outwit the drunk driving laws in this country, drinking until they've drunk the house dry and have to journey to the market for a 24-pack pick-me-up. When stumbling doesn't get them very far, their hammered judgment tells them to drive a golf cart instead. Or, even better, to drive a motorized cooler down the road. (But guess what? I'm sure no one wakes up and decides what to wear thinking they're going to get thrown in the slammer later that day. Most people dress to impress or dress for success, but dress for arrest? Not so much. All of these fools unintentionally picked out the perfect tee to wear for their mug shots later that day. It's an ironic twist of fate that the gramps with "I am the law!" scrawled across his chest ended up behind bars, thanks to the law. Fla. Woman Wears Revealing Shirt For Her Mugshot

The arrest happened way back in August, but given our in-depth reporting on mugshot fashions today, this story is too apropos to pass up. Amanda Lynn Bailey was charged with driving under the influence (and without a license, no less!) during the early hours of the morning last summer. To her misfortune, she was dressed for the occasion. Amanda may have plead the fifth, but her T-shirt spoke volumes. To read more, click here.

Got Itchy Nuts?

This dude was pulled over for driving under the influence and, while handcuffed, got an itch he couldn't scratch. Judging from the bounce in his "itchy nut" dance and his persistence in pleading for relief, I think he was serious. It sure took balls to ask police officers to scratch on his behalf, though. What a nut job.

Arrests Made After 11 Kenyans Are Burned For Being "Witches"

Burned at the stake isn't just an ancient expression. Nineteen people have just been arrested in Kenya in connection with the burning of 11 people accused of being witches - this week.

A police spokesman said those arrested may not have been involved in the killings but possibly incited the attacks. The victims accused of witchcraft - eight women and three men, were aged between 80 and 96 - and were burned to death in the western Kisii district.

The district has a history of similar attacks in the past. People suspected of engaging in witchcraft have been killed or ostracized before. This time, the gang had a list of the victims and sought them out individually. The attackers dragged those accused from their homes and burned them individually before setting their homes on fire. The victim's families are now in hiding, afraid for their lives.

The gang apparently found a notebook at a local primary school that looked to contained the minutes of a "witches" meeting" with details of who was going to be bewitched next, using this as motivation to fuel the attacks.
