A recent study shows that deer mice are monogamous and have "superior stress tolerance and blood sugar regulation." That would make us think that for humans, a monogamous relationship would prove to offer health benefits, but what else can we learn from the animal kingdom? Harrison Ford has gotten pretty buff for his role in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. I cannot believe it's been almost 30 years since he did Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981)! The openness of the animal kingdom continues to astound me. This baby tiger is being raised by a sow alongside piglets in the Guandong province of China. I know I'm getting all Disney on you guys, but in this harsh world, it's nice to know that, even if only for a time, predator and prey can get along.
