Jackie O in (Vintage) Nude Photo Scandal!

A word to the wise: naked photos can always resurface - even decades later. As archivists sort through 610 boxes full of memorabilia and junk collected by the late Andy Warhol, they recently stumbled upon an autographed nude photo of Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis.

Jackie O was a frequent muse to the packrat artist and apparently gifted him a naked poster signed, "For Andy, with enduring affection, Jackie Montauk." Matt Wrbican, who is overseeing the project of the Andy Warhol Foundation, says the handwriting matches that of Onassis, who often visited Warhol's Montauk, NY, beachhouse. Here's more:

So, after her second husband, Aristotle Socrates Onassis, got a paparazzi to take pictures of her skinny-dipping and it landed in the hands of Larry Flynt, who turned it into a poster for his porn magazine, Hustler, Jackie O sent a copy – likely as a joke – to Warhol, Wrbican said.

Wow, those guys are lucky that Jackie had a good sense of humor about the whole thing. In another funny twist, the relic was found amid junk ranging from receipts to fan mail and even Caroline Kennedy's wedding cake. Just goes to show you never know where things will turn up.

Is it art or awkwardness? How can something so mundane seem so unnatural? Folks, that's Andy Warhol for ya. Watch him daintily dip a Burger King hamburger into a dollop of ketchup, chew, chew, chew, finish in under three minutes, and then give the camera an unflinching look of. . .indigestion? Despair? Hope? I have no idea, but I know it's more compelling than Paris Hilton washing a car in bathing suit.

Artist Andy Warhol loved American advertising, often incorporating iconic products into his artwork. So that explains why he's holding a television on his shoulder and speaking Japanese to hawk TDK products on Japanese television, right? Hmmm. Not really...(I love how you can hear his strong American accent through the Japanese.)

OK. I promise I'm about to get with the program and Move On (without the .org, thanks all the same) but I could not let this slip by: John McCain was not the first one to compare Barack Obama to Paris Hilton. (!!!) Especially since Liberty and I went head-to-head on the celebrity issue, this PS-revelation is too good.

Kathy Hilton also came out with an albeit brief retort about the McCain ad, calling it, "a complete waste of the money John McCain's contributors have donated to his campaign." Well, maybe - but at least the campaign didn't spend money coming up with the idea - that was handed right to them.
