The movie Once won for best song last night at the Oscars. When Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova got up to accept the award, though, Glen did all the talking, and by the time Marketa got a chance to speak, the mic was turned off. Ouch! But Jon Stewart saved the day. He invited her back on stage to say what she wanted to say. How can you not love this guy? Swoon.

Awkward! Sherri Shepherd Brings Up Whoopi's Snub

Well, we all know that The View's Sherri Shepherd can be a bit dense, but in this clip, she comes off as downright mean, when she brings up the fact that her co-host (and former Oscar host) Whoopi Goldberg wasn't featured in last night's montage of hosts. The gals then spend the next two minutes trying to make her feel better, while inevitably just making it worse.

In this specific incident, a chain reaction of events actually seems to echo a universal problem that I'm sure we've all dealt with in one way or another - if a message that's never meant to be seen ends up in the wrong hands, trouble always arises. Dear's Advice: We've all played the game of telephone enough as kids to know that a message can be completely changed and taken out of context after it's been told too many times - especially one that shouldn't have been revealed to begin with. Once it's out, it's out, so the best thing that you can do is some immediate damage control, which usually begins with fessing up and apologizing - it's going to be awkward no matter what, so get it over with quickly. Confront the "messenger" directly before the rumor begins to spread, and try to offer a reasonable explanation.

Once you've apologized, take the necessary precautions to make sure this doesn't happen again. In this case, getting rid of the note is probably a good idea but in this digital age, when sending a message is just a click away, things are dicier than ever. Make sure to confirm who you're sending something to before you press send. That one second can save you hours of anxiety - trust me, you don't want to learn that lesson the hard way!

Believe it or not, we've never done a do, dump, or marry on George Clooney! Lucky for us he's nominated for an Oscar this Sunday for his performance in Michael Clayton. Now I don't need to tell you what a catch Mr. Clooney is, but it's kind of fun to count the ways. He's great looking, charming, funny, rugged, traveled, and most importantly, single! Although he's no spring chicken, his age isn't slowing him down so ladies, tell me, would you do, dump, or marry George Clooney?

I feel in love with Daniel Day Lewis after The Last of the Mohicans and although he's not your typical Hollywood hottie, he's got that special something. We haven't seen all that much of him over the years, but when he commits to a film, he gives it his all, which he clearly did for his role in There Will Be Blood. He already has one Oscar under his belt, and chances are he'll make that two this Sunday. His sincerity combined with his It factor, his sexy accent, and his baby blues makes him pretty delightful, but what I want to know is would you do, dump, or marry Daniel Day Lewis?

Dear's Advice For Juno

For those of you who didn't see the 2008 Oscar nominated movie Juno, I'm sure you've at least heard the plot. Though she seems to have it completely together in terms of the decisions around her pregnancy, she isn't quite as sure of herself when it comes to her love life. I decided to offer up some of my own advice for Juno, who's had an up and down friendship with her baby's daddy that comes to a head in the scene below. Dear's Advice: Juno, with everything that you've been dealing with, it's really no wonder that some of the stress is taking its toll on your relationships. You and this guy have an incredibly complicated relationship, so it's hard to tell where the boundaries are. However, you did tell him that you didn't want to be with him, which probably seemed like permission for him to date other girls. Seeing as how you are expecting his child, it does make it less appropriate for him to move on so quickly, so I can't blame you for feeling abandoned.

Obviously you've got some more-than-friends feelings for him, and I think you should come clean. Tell him that you're sorry for getting so upset, but you did it because you were jealous and hurt. In fact, you should demand that he take you to prom pregnant and all, like a peaceful antiprom protest or plan something for that night that you guys used to do to get things back on the right foot. It's really admirable that you're being so tough, but don't let your stubborn disposition get the best of you.
