Since I grew up in San Francisco, I will never forget that 7.1 quake as long as I live, and ever since 1989, I have a <i>severe fear</i> of natural disasters. Anyway you slice it, they are terrifying. I think the worst part is not knowing what's in store for you and your loved ones and not knowing when they will end or what's coming next.
