Horror reboot Evil Dead won the box office this weekend, raking in $26 million and besting G.I. Joe: Retaliation and The Croods, both of which added $21.1 million to their total. "New" release Jurassic Park 3D came in at fourth place and took in $18.3 million, a sizable amount for a rerelease. Olympus Has Fallen rounded out the top five with $10 million, while limited-release films The Company You Keep and Trance, directed by Danny Boyle, earned $146,000 in five theaters and $136,000 in four theaters respectively.

Rosario Dawson met up with ex-boyfriend Danny Boyle to premiere their new film, Trance, in NYC last night. She was joined by her costar Vincent Cassel as she joked around on the red carpet while wearing a stunning Bottega Veneta pink dress. Later, Rosario, Danny, and Vincent headed to the premiere's afterparty where the actress celebrated the arrival of a pizza delivery by cheering for joy. The cast weren't the only stars who attended the event, with The Walking Dead's Norman Reedus arriving on the arm of Debbie Harry, and Girls stars Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet catching a screening of the new flick.

The premiere comes hot on the heels of the announcement that Rosario and Danny had broken up, although it isn't clear how long the couple had been dating. The two were last seen together when Rosario donned a bikini during a vacation in Barbados back in January. There are rumors that Rosario is moving on with Michael Fassbender after the two were spotted together in London over the weekend.

"No piece of art is worth a human life" — or is it? In director Danny Boyle's upcoming thriller Trance, James McAvoy stars as Simon, an art auctioneer who steals an important painting only to forget where he's put it after being hit in the head. Franck (Vincent Cassel) and his gang of criminals are on Simon's case, so he turns to psychotherapist Elizabeth (Rosario Dawson) in an effort to remember. Little does he know that she's working for Franck, and she claims that once Simon is hypnotized, she can make him do anything.

Trance seems to have all the fixings of a suspenseful thriller: blood, sex, sweat, and a whole lot of violence. The therapist-working-for-the-criminal twist may be a bit simple, but with Oscar-winning director Boyle at the helm, we're guessing it'll be a fast-paced film with plenty of surprises.
