One particular moment I think is the most special for a couple is the exchange of "I love you." Whether it’s sappy, funny, or completely random, this step always lingers and represents a deepening connection in a relationship.   • The fork turns 377 years old. In 1630, the governor of a colony in Massachusetts introduced the fork to fine American dining.
  • In 1938 a new Federal law was put into action promising workers across the nation a minimum wage of 40 cents per hour.
  • Just 13 short years later, in 1951, the first color beer commercial aired on TV. What brand of beer was it? None other than Pabst Blue Ribbon.
  • Finally in 1974, the first functioning checkout scanner was installed in the supermarket.
