The Maison Martin Margiela For H&M Capsule Makes Models Want to Dance

In case you'd forgotten about the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration that's headed for H&M stores on Nov.

In case you'd forgotten about the Maison Martin Margiela collaboration that's headed for H&M stores on Nov. 15, there's now a minute-long commercial to remind you just how cool it is.

The ad features four models dressed in the capsule collection, two of who stand in a calm repose on the streets of Paris. Another tries her best to balance on a chair in the Lucite heels from the collaboration, while a male model dances in an intersection.

Luckily, there aren't any traffic incidents — but the sound of a speeding motorcycle whizzing past one of the models brings a little depth to an otherwise surreal experience. A look at the commercial below.

Coco Rocha has reprised her role as the tabletop dancer in White House Black Market's Fall 2012 commercial, but this time she's joined by someone new: her own alter ego. Rocha just begins to sashay when a carbon copy of herself cuts in. The duo then make 12 work-appropriate costume changes in 30 seconds — and the clothes look all the more elegant thanks to Rocha's graceful, precise movements.

The new "new iPad" was announced yesterday, and as per usual, the ad for the latest Apple product was not too far behind. The biggest selling point of the new iPad is its stunning 2048-by-1536 Retina display, which boasts 44 percent improved color saturation. Take a look at the latest ad below and tell us — is the Retina display enough to get you to buy a new iPad?

Gender-Neutral Beer: Smart Move or Marketing Ploy?

A Danish brewer has launched a gender-neutral marketing campaign for its new beer, Copenhagen, and it may be the first of its kind.

A Danish brewer has launched a gender-neutral marketing campaign for its new beer, Copenhagen, and it may be the first of its kind. Even though women make up 25 percent of the beer market, when was the last time you saw a beer commercial or advertisement aimed at female drinkers? Well, Carlsberg is attempting to break the mold by designing a clean, androgynous campaign for its light beer that steers clear of both bikini-clad babes and a Barbie doll color scheme. While I think gender-neutral (or really, gender-inclusive) advertising is a step in the right direction, the commercial is still treating beer as an accessory women choose based on packaging instead of a beverage we choose based on taste. But watch the commercial for yourself and tell us what you think!

Bank Commercial Uses Clips of Mother Theresa, The Matrix to Score Customers

Talk about a marketing strategy gone wrong.

Talk about a marketing strategy gone wrong. Business Insider posted a commercial that the now defunct Icelandic bank Kraupthing released before the worldwide economic meltdown. You'll see video snippets of Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I Have a Dream" speech, Nelson Mandela being sworn in as president, the moon landing, some war footage, and yes, The Matrix. The ad might make for some kind of feel good inspirational message, but it definitely doesn't work well as a bank promo.

Did You Catch HP's Big Time Grammy Debut?

Last year's Grammys may have been all about tech, but this year's awards were a solid nod to awesome music.

Last year's Grammys may have been all about tech, but this year's awards were a solid nod to awesome music. (Did you catch Arcade Fire's awesome helmet cam?)

Interspersed into great music, though, were ads for HP's newest line of products, and they spared no expense to promote their new line of tablets. Alicia Keys signed on as a spokesperson for the new TouchPad, which was announced to much fanfare without a release date or pricing information.

Ads for HP flanked many segments of the popular awards show, featuring HP's TouchSmart technology and Beats Audio with glimpses at the brand new, iPad competing tablet. While the commercials didn't reach Super Bowl proportions, it was great exposure for the brand new tablet and technology. What did you think?

Two Is Better Than One: Apple's First AT&T/Verizon Ad

While AT&T and Verizon battle it out on Twitter (and T-Mobile gets in its own jabs on the airwaves), Apple attempts to rise above the bickering to bring the two companies together in a new iPhone 4 ad.

While AT&T and Verizon battle it out on Twitter (and T-Mobile gets in its own jabs on the airwaves), Apple attempts to rise above the bickering to bring the two companies together in a new iPhone 4 ad.

Both devices are shown to do what they do best: surf the Internet, post to Facebook, check out iBooks, and more. They seem to be identical in every way. But are they? Truth be told, I'm pretty excited — soon I'll be able to use my AT&T iPhone Facetime my mom on her Verizon iPhone. Apple: bringing families together once again.

Carl's Jr. Uses LEGOs to Entice Hungry Customers

At first, this Rocky-inspired commercial looks awesome.

At first, this Rocky-inspired commercial looks awesome. Who can hate Lego-ized versions of movie characters? While the commercial is pretty awesome in its stop-motion depiction of famous scenes from the original Rocky movie, the end result leaves a bad taste in my mouth. (Pun intended!)

The commercial, which is for a menu item called the "Cheesesteak Burger" from Carl's Jr, features awesome Lego-ized versions of a boxing ring, busy city streets, and the Philadelphia Art Museum before it shows a photo of the over-the-top burger that FitSugar would not approve of — it contains 80 percent of your daily saturated fat intake! I think it's akin to KFC's famous Double Down, so watch at your own risk (it could make you hungry, it could make you sick) — but the first 1:15 of the video is pure Lego goodness! Lance Armstrong Brings the LOL to a Few Radio Shack Spots

Cycling legend Lance Armstrong is having a busy week.

Cycling legend Lance Armstrong is having a busy week. He crashed during stage five of the Tour of California and also defended himself against allegations of drug use during the Tour de France. On a bit more optimistic note, Lance's new commercials for Radio Shack — the cycling team he rides for — came out this week. In the spots, Lance gives some lessons on cell phone etiquette, which include: "No man over the age of 30 will ever use emoticons — no colon parentheses smiley faces . . ."

The spots are super funny so it's no surprise that Christopher Guest of Waiting For Guffman and Best In Show fame directed them. See what Lance has to say about voice mails in the second commercial when you read more
