If that's not a title to make you swoon, then you have ice water running through your veins. Thumbelina, in addition to being as cute as a button, visits sick kids in the hospital and has her own charitable organization. (Don't you just want to put her in your pocket and pull her out and look at her face from time to time? No? Okay, maybe that's just me.)
Cute Alert: Tiny Horse, Meet Giant Horse

This picture makes me nervous. Radar, the Belgian horse that's officially the tallest horse in the world at about 6 ' 6" tall, is standing above the tiny, 17 inches tall Thumbelina, officially the world's tiniest mare. I'm worried he's going to crush her like a bug. It's like she thinks Radar is a barn she's standing inside. I bet they fall in love! You know what they say--opposites attract!
New Product Alert: Thumbelina by Valerie Beverly Hills
New from Valerie Beverly Hills is the adorably named Thumbalina Bronzer ($55). This ultra-fine, silicone-based powder is developed in Italy and packed into a super-light compact.
With just a sweep of your powder brush, you can achieve a safe and luminescent tan. You can wear Thumbelina alone or over a tinted moisturizer or your favorite foundation.
To apply, just smile and dust the apples of your cheeks. Blend up towards the hairline and then down and around your chin to soften. Don't forget to hit your temples and to accent the areas where the sun would naturally hit your face.
If you're looking for a more sparkly bronzer, makeup artist Valerie Sarnelle has also created the Angelina ($55). A sister bronzer to Thumbelina, this one has a hint of frosted pink, so it can also be used as a highlighter.
Thumbelina: The World's Smallest Horse
![]()
Thumbelina, at a mere 17 inches tall and weighing only 60 pounds, is officially the world's smallest horse. Born as a dwarf to a miniature horse, she's a "mini of a mini," and as a foal she liked to hang out with the cocker spaniels rather than with normal-sized horses whose knees she reached to. Thumbelina will live only half the life of a regular miniature horse (maybe 17 years), but judging from this picture, she'll pack twice the cuteness into it. She's a real-life My Little Pony!
