Yesterday, Eater National broached the subject of televisions in restaurants: How many is too many? How big of a screen is too big? And are they acceptable at all?
Until now, I'd never given this question much thought. I'm honestly not a fan of televisions in restaurants — that is, with the exception of the tried-and-true sports bar and grill. How do you feel about them?
I like watching TV, but I don't like the way TVs look in my house, and I know I am not alone. So I'm loving this solution that New York Magazine's Wendy Goodman spied while touring Ambre Kelly's Brooklyn abode.
Kelly and her boyfriend didn't like the look of their TV, but rather than hide it, they framed it with a cheeky gilded frame. Just proves you don't have to own a flatscreen to turn your TV into a decorative item.

Because what could be more American than "disposing" of old TVs by throwing them off the roof? How about a free American flag with every purchase?!
