Ricardo Montalbán (Nov. 25, 1920 – Jan. 14, 2009) was a suave Mexican-born actor best known for his roles as Khan in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan and as Mr. Roarke in Fantasy Island, a television show in which he played the proprietor of a mysterious island where people came to live out their fantasies. He won an Emmy award in 1978, and a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Screen Actors Guild in 1993. In this awesome minisode of Fantasy Island, Charo, playing Ms. Morales, is having second thoughts about her role as a surrogate mother for a couple and wants to know what it will be like to give up her baby. RIP, Ricardo.

I could listen to Ricardo "Mr. Roarke" Montalban say "soft Corr-in-thian leather" over and over again in an endless loop. It's even better when you learn that there's no such thing as Corinthian leather. The leather in Chrysler's Cordoba was from New Jersey. (New Jersey?! Get a rope.)
