Meet Elke, the four-day-old hand raised Francois Leaf-Monkey as she poses on the red carpet at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney like a total pro. A native of Northeast Vietnam and Southeast China, this little red-headed monkey's heart-shaped face and calm demeanor tells me she's gonna be a supah-star!

By now, most of you know that in addition to fashion I also love animals. I am, after all, mommy to my Frenchie Annabelle. Imagine taking our favorite animals and pairing them with the industry's hottest models and the world's most sought-after designers. Welcome to the animal hause! I've been noticing many a editorial featuring our furry, and not-so-furry, friends: dogs, monkeys, elephants, cats, cheetahs. Oh, and an eland (a type of antelope) like the one model Behati Prinsloo is battling in April's Harper's Bazaar. Some of these are sexy, some are scary, some serious, and some comical. Welcome to the jungle baby.

Holy smokes, this thing is freaky cute! Ignore the elevator music (which inevitably swells to — groan! —a guitar solo) and focus on the cute. It's hard to miss!

I feel ya, monkey. I've reacted with a similar shriek after many a rough night. Yes, this punchline is somewhat obvious, but it's hard to pass up such classic monkey humor.

High Rollers was the dice-rolling monkey in an old game called "Duel of the Dice." He wore a tux, had great teeth, and would only play with golden dice— that's how he rolled! But seriously, where are all the monkey contestants on TV game shows nowadays? Oh, that's right. They're all on reality shows.

Where is this paradise where gibbons, doggies and people are all frolicking together and having fun? I wanna play!

Who needs babysitters when we got monkeys? No joke. A monkey in India took a liking to this family's newborn and started making regular visits to play with the infant. Before long, the monkey became the family babysitter. While Mom spends the day accomplishing household chores, the monkey tends to the baby and all its pretend buggers. Do I hear Disney calling?

Have we run out of people to punk?! All this chimp wants is a decent meal and that's exactly what he gets, served up with a little snake on the side. The snake's a fake, but our chimp's reaction is real. Who has the heart to punk a chimp— and a chimp dressed as Old MacDonald, no less? This is so uncalled for. (But Old McScaredy gets his brave on, thankfully!)
