I grew up watching Mister Rogers' Neighborhood every morning. And, honestly, I only remember feeling extremely resentful that I had to get dressed for school while, in Mister Rogers's universe, he was returning home from work to play. The start of every show, he routinely dresses down to his legit indoor outfit, which always includes a colorful cardigan and a pair of Keds. Now that I'm older, I can't help but wonder about the ritualistic behavior the man demonstrated at the beginning and end of every show.
