• Robert Pattinson triumphed over Luke Perry, 57 to 43 percent.
• Patrick Dempsey barely beat out Kirk Cameron.
• With 52 percent of the vote, Elvis Presley squeaked out a victory over Will Smith.
• And while Josh Hartnett kicked out Jared Leto in round one, he lost to Heath Ledger last round.

The next round is packed with more heartbreaking matchups — how can we choose between Justin Timberlake and Orlando Bloom or Leonardo DiCarpio and Matt Damon? After kicking off our March Manness heartthrob bracket last week, we're getting ready to move on to round two tomorrow! So far in our quest to crown the finest teen heartthrob of all time, the matchup between Patrick Sawyze (5) and Joshua Jackson (12) has been the tightest. Right now, Patrick is winning by 80 votes. But I wouldn't count out Pacey fans to bring Joshua back from behind. Whoever wins will likely face Ben Affleck (4) in round two.

Other first-round battles to watch as it comes to a close:

• Josh Hartnett (13) has pulled ahead of Jared Leto (4). But that matchup is still close.
• Robert Pattinson (7) has secured a pretty good lead over Corey Haim (10) and will most likely face Luke Perry (2) in round two, who now has a good lead over fellow '90s star Andrew Keegan (15).
• Devon Sawa (16) is trailing favorite James Dean (1). But Devon's attempt to rally his Twitter followers might help him pull off a victory.
• As for the other number one seeds, Leonardo DiCaprio, Justin Timberlake, and Johnny Depp seem like sure bets for round two.
