I mean, have you watched Animal Planet's Too Cute? I may be a dog parent, but I have to admit that after watching a few episodes, I am smitten with kittens! These Ragdoll babies are playtime patooties, but watch as one little kitty becomes cuddle buddies with a giant German Shepherd. Sigh . . . and suddenly all is well with the world!

Everyone knows the feeling: sometimes the urge to lash out just overcomes you and you can't help yourself. You must pounce! Lucky for this little kitty, his trusty dog friend is pretty mellow about the whole ordeal.

Before you just start laughing at these kitties who appear to suddenly fall out at random, I'd like to bring your attention to the disorder that causes this. Myotonia congenita is a non-inflammatory hereditary muscle disease also known as fainting goat syndrome as it most often affects those creatures. While the illness is also found in dog breeds, like the Miniature Schnauzer, here are two sweet kittens who were born this way, too.

Easy to spot as it looks like the animals go from moving to fainting in an instant, it's actually a temporary paralysis that occurs when the animals are startled and while running or jumping. Sadly, according to the poster of this video, Spike (the black and white kitten) passed away on Oct. 27 of respiratory failure. RIP, lil one.

What pretty Persian faces! Meet Empress Tang (at right) and Princess Peony (at left), the two kittens recently joining Martha Stewart's furry menagerie.

After losing Paw Paw, Ghenghis Khan and, most recently, a Himalayan named Mozart, I'm betting these two will keep her other pets rather occupied — smooshies Francesca and Sharkey already smell trouble!

The tricolor calicos already have another high-profile connection as she learned about them from Grace Coddington, who used some of this breeder's cats in a past Vogue photo shoot. From the looks at it, these 5-month-old kittens are well on their way to a future in modeling . . . for Martha, at least. Congratulations!

I imagine it's hard work being the country's most trusted newscaster, and if you tuned into The Daily Show last night, you can see what I mean. If you missed it, Jon Stewart put up the choice to cover healthcare reform . . . or a cute kitten video. He looked just as torn up as I felt when healthcare won out. So, to satisfy my kitty craving, I dug up the entire video he showed for just a few seconds: three cats playing in a tissue box. Awww-dorable!
