This year, Joey Lawrence tried a new role on for size as the host of ABC's newest reality series, Splash. Joey paid a visit to our LA studios recently to talk about the diving competition's final episode and which stars surprised him the most with their skills. We also talked about what's ahead on the upcoming season of Melissa & Joey and why the 1990s are having a resurgence. He even mentioned how he discovered that Joey Russo, his character from Blossom, had a surprising connection to Kanye West. The Splash season finale airs tonight at 8/7 Central.

Justin Timberlake was the man of the hour at last night's LA premiere of In Time. Justin, who opted for a fashion-forward camel suit and brown shirt ensemble, posed with his leading lady in the film, Amanda Seyfried, on the red carpet before heading in to check out the screening. JT's mom in the futuristic action movie, Olivia Wilde, was also on hand, as was cute Matthew Bomer. JT's on-again girlfriend, Jessica Biel, reportedly attended the afterparty, though she skipped the photo line. Their rekindled romance seems to be going strong, and they were spotted out to dinner with his parents on Wednesday night. Justin is branching out into a new genre with In Time, which hits theaters in one week. We recently sat down with the actor to chat about taking on the intense subject matter, and Justin said he tapped into his "personal demons" to tackle the role.

Joey switched gears from business to family when he brought his daughters, Charlie and Liberty, to a Halloween event in Santa Monica late last month.

In case you haven't been keeping tabs on her recurring role on The Secret Life of the American Teenager (or her bad taste on What Not to Wear), the actress is signing on for a stint on The Big Bang Theory as a love interest for geeky guy Sheldon. But she's not the only early '90s star with a gig: Bialik's former costar Joey "Whoa" Lawrence has a series on the horizon alongside Clarissa of Clarissa Explains It All, Melissa Joan Hart. Titled Melissa & Joey (inventive title), the show has just been announced as part of ABC Family's Summer lineup.

While these roles don't exactly sound like a huge career boost, the news does have me thinking of the many child stars I'd like to come back big, and I'm definitely throwing Rider Strong on my list. Which former child stars would you like to see?
