  • Chloé will celebrate its 60th anniversary this year — and in grand fashion. Among the scheduled festivities are a retrospective exhibition and a party in conjunction with the Spring 2013 show. The house will also release a capsule collection based on garments from its archives, redecorate its Paris boutique, and publish a book with Rizzoli. [WWD]

  • The catalog for Daphne Guinness's Christie's clothing auction is online. Hopeful buyers will be able to bid on dresses from Lanvin and Alexander McQueen, a Lacroix opera coat, and a selection of size 37 shoes. [The Cut]

  • Gucci recently bought a stallion named Vleut and, in honor of the brand's founder, Guccio Gucci, renamed it Guccio. The hope is that Guccio will make an appearance at this Summer's Olympic Games in London, though he currently resides at the Dutch home of Australian equestrienne Edwina Alexander. [Elle]

  • Speaking of the Olympics, rumor has it that British models Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley will participate in the closing ceremonies at the London games. Details are scant, but the three are said to be participating in a display of fashion from top British designers like Vivienne Westwood and Sarah Burton. [Modelinia]

  • Ahead of her move to the English countryside, Amanda Brooks has donated a portion of her high-end wardrobe to the New York City Opera's annual pop-up thrift shop. There is reportedly lots of Prada, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Jil Sander, Tuleh, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel — and "loads of shoes." [Page Six]

Horsin' Around

This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill pet!

This is definitely not your run-of-the-mill pet! tsharp25 shared this pic of a lil horse sneaking in a bite to eat in the Spotted! group:

Luckily this sweet little horse has a thick coat to keep him warm during the snowy Canadian Winter. See more pics below!

If you want to be a cute capturer, share your own video or photo of your favorite furry friends with the Spotted! group.

Do You Own Any Horse Artwork?

Celebrity hair stylist Sally Hershberger has listed her 3-bedroom, 5-bath, 1960 Beverly Hills home on the market for $5.5 million.

Celebrity hair stylist Sally Hershberger has listed her 3-bedroom, 5-bath, 1960 Beverly Hills home on the market for $5.5 million. Aside from the stunning, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the Hollywood Hills, I couldn't help but notice that Sally has a major thing for horsies. In perhaps the two most prominent spots in her home — above the master bed and the dining table — she proudly displays two pieces of horse artwork. The photographs (or paintings?) aren't necessarily equestrian, but she is from Kansas, so maybe she is a horse rider. In any case, it's intriguing to see this side of her personality revealed.

Do you own any horse artwork? If so, why? Do you just think they're pretty or is horse riding a hobby of yours?

Before and After: From Funky Frames to Cool Collage

When I was pregnant with my baby, I knew that I wanted to create an unusual, fun, and eye-catching art installation for his room.

When I was pregnant with my baby, I knew that I wanted to create an unusual, fun, and eye-catching art installation for his room. I latched onto the idea of creating a collage out of some frames that I'd been collecting at thrift stores.

I started with this mismatched jumble of frames, which I painted all black. Then I had pieces of 1/8-inch-thick birch plywood cut to fit each frame. With help from a design-savvy artist friend, I was then able to create the outline for my project.

Roundup: Bachelorette Mansion-Style Sculptural Horses

I've been seeing a lot of equestrian accents in homes lately, and I don't mean cowboys and Indians.

I've been seeing a lot of equestrian accents in homes lately, and I don't mean cowboys and Indians. From ceramic bookends to horse head hooks, horsing around with your decorating can be chic and modern. Take a cue from the green ceramic Trojan horses in The Bachelorette mansion and use them sparingly in an accent color to keep the look fresh. Or create a monochromatic vignette that includes a white horse figurine and assorted white vases. See my picks below! Have you used horse sculptures in your home's vignettes? Be sure to share your decorating arrangements in the Lovely Little Vignettes group! Photo copyright 2010 ABC, Inc.

Stella McCartney

Stella McCartney's Brilliant Equestrian Chandelier Returns

We all know that Stella McCartney is an animal lover, but forgoing leather isn't the only way she shows it.

We all know that Stella McCartney is an animal lover, but forgoing leather isn't the only way she shows it. McCartney created an astonishing crystal sculpture in the shape of a horse in 2004 for a fashion exhibit inside the Great Hall of Belsay Castle, an English Heritage castle in the UK, and it has returned for the Easter holiday. "Lucky Spot" was made from thousands of hanging crystals, and is truly a magnificent sight. McCartney was inspired to create it after visiting the medieval castle and its quarry gardens, and it is intended to be a response to George Stubbs's famous equestrian painting, Whistlejacket. If you find yourself on the other side of the pond, you can catch a glimpse of the equestrian masterpiece through Good Friday, April 10, at Belsay Castle. To see more photos of Lucky Spot, read more

Would You Pasture This Pony in Your Garden?

I don't think I've revealed to CasaSugar readers yet that I've always been a bit of a horse freak.

I don't think I've revealed to CasaSugar readers yet that I've always been a bit of a horse freak. In fact, I've been riding, reading about, and dreaming about horses since I was a wee babe. Not even injuries, buckings, and bitings have dissuaded me from this preoccupation. Given that history, there's no question whether or not I'd give this Teak Horse Sculpture ($4,700) a home on my range: I most definitely would. But are you going to say "neigh" to this pony?

You'd think this was a Monty Python skit! Every horse has a normal name, except Pirate Horse. There's Crackie CJ, Diamond League, and. . ."Aaaaaargh!"
