After this year's Macworld and CES, it's normal to suffer from new-gadget-announcement overload. Let Adult Swim's strange and hilarious satire of smartphones introduce you to the highly inconvenient Cinco phone, presided over by none other than — who else — Ed Begley, Jr.?

If you like British humor and get a kick out of old educational movies, then Adult Swim's new addition to its programming lineup is just for you. Starting this Sunday at 1 a.m., it will be airing 14 episodes of Look Around You, a hilarious BBC spoof on classroom science videos.

Each nine-minute episode of the show attempts to teach you about such things as water, math (or "maths," in British lingo), and sports, but it's almost guaranteed you'll learn nothing useful — or accurate — by watching. You might, say, find out that all music is produced by a special music-making machine, or that the largest possible number in the world is "approximately 45 billion." It's dry, straightforward, and completely hilarious; it always makes me think of awkward science teachers in my past who wore a lot of tweed.

Man, it must suck to work as a customer service rep. You'd never know if the person calling in was a legitimate dummy, or someone pranking you. Tim from the crazy duo Tim and Eric calls a record store to say that his ukulele fell from a shelf and hit his lap top, breaking it. Scratch your head along with the music store guy to figure out how this is his problem. . .

Trivia games are so hard. How are you supposed to guess one name out of a category called "Arts & Entertainment"? Although, eliminating Jackie Chan from the equation does make things a bit easier. Or at least you'd think so . . .

We've seen some darn creepy PSAs on the this site, which is why I initially mistook this for the real deal. Thankfully, it's not. I'd never do anything endorsed by this depressed looking dude and his half-dressed, oversized puppet, but I might recommend he make an appointment with a good dentist! And maybe get a day job when he's done.
