Website of the Day: My Inaugural Photo

Man, what I would have given to be in CitizenSugar's shoes on Tuesday, to be at the inauguration in Washington.

Man, what I would have given to be in CitizenSugar's shoes on Tuesday, to be at the inauguration in Washington. The millions of people, the excitement, and to be able to witness something so historic in person would have been incredible. But alas, there is something I can do to feel like I was a part of the action. Thanks to an awesome site called My Inaugural Photo, which is powered by the photo editing software provider FotoFlexer, I (and you too!) can instantly be in the center of Obama's swearing-in!

Celebs' Amazing Inaugural Ensembles

Let's take a break from Michelle Obama's fabulous inauguration looks and turn our attention to the celebs who stylishly celebrated the occasion. The abundance of balls brought out a slew of celebs to the East Coast looking pretty and proper in their celebratory gear. One of my faves was Anne Hathaway wearing a ravishing red gown by Dior. Check out the slides to see Rosario Dawson, Demi Moore, Hayden Panettiere, and more in amazing inaugural ensembles.

The President's First Day: Not a BlackBerry in Sight

It was all business for President Barack Obama today, as he got right to work in the Oval Office.

It was all business for President Barack Obama today, as he got right to work in the Oval Office. Here he is chatting with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel, in what appears to be a very stark workspace area. Desk phone — check. Laptop — where are you? And BlackBerry — you were spotted with the president after the parade yesterday, so maybe you're hiding in a holster somewhere? Whatever the case, that room needs a geek to pimp it out. The Obamas have already purchased a Wii, so maybe they'll get some more tech toys soon?! A geek girl can only hope that's the case.

Fab Blab: Jason Wu Is Still on Pins and Needles

I caught him on the Today show this morning — hence the tardiness to work today — and Teen Vogue nabbed some time with the first lady designer extraordinaire, Jason Wu. We all agree Michelle looked fantastic in his white flower appliqué gown last night. Swoon.

In this son-wu-on-designing-michelle-obamas-inaugural-ball-gown.html?mbid=fabsugar">Teen Vogue exclusive, Wu shared that he's "been on pins and needles for two months. I made the dress in November, and flew to Chicago with it over Thanksgiving. I was like, I'm delivering this myself! I didn't want anyone else touching it! But I really didn't know she'd be wearing it until I saw her on TV last night, just like everyone else. I dropped everything when she walked out. And, yes, I did cry a little bit. It's an incredible moment for me, but also for this country. We're starting with a clean slate." Didn't we all cry a little bit?

All eyes were on Barack and Michelle Obama as they made their way around the inaugural ball circuit last night, but there were plenty of other stars out partying as well.

All eyes were on Barack and Michelle Obama as they made their way around the inaugural ball circuit last night, but there were plenty of other stars out partying as well. Ben Affleck caught up with Jessica Alba at the Artist Making an Impact Dinner, while Jay-Z looked dapper in his suit and glasses making a stop at the BET Ball. Jay also caught the Obamas' first dance, where his wife Beyonce brought many to tears. Rihanna stood out in her sassy gold number at the Feeding America Inauguration Charity Ball, which Courteney, David, Tobey, and Jennifer also attended. It was a memorable day and night for the whole country, and it looks like those who were lucky enough to be in DC celebrated in style all night long.

Jennifer and Marc Continue Their Inaugural PDA

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had trouble getting in to watch the first dance, but they provided entertainment at the Western Inaugural Ball, yet another of the Obamas' stops last night.

Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony had trouble getting in to watch the first dance, but they provided entertainment at the Western Inaugural Ball, yet another of the Obamas' stops last night. On stage, Marc revealed his single "You Sang to Me" was something he'd written for Jennifer 10 years ago and joked he "must have been psychic." His wife joined him to perform a duet and they kissed while Marc said "Man, she's cute." The singer wasn't the only husband gushing about his wife — after dancing with Michelle, President Obama said, "[She] does everything I do, but she does it in heels." Around one in the morning, the new first couple retired home to join their sleeping daughters for the first night as a family in the White House.
