Lots of things can go wrong on a first date. Things can go from a little rude to all-out deal breakers quickly. We've been taking advice from celebrities for National Singles Week, but now we want to hear from the experts. You. Tell us about the worst date you've had, and we'll hope we never go on it!

omg I thought of another one... I was on a lukewarm date, trying to decide if I would go out with him again, when we were driving back he rolled down his window and yelled "GET A JOB" at a homeless person. I was like ".... yup there's my decision."

He had a four door four cylinder family car and kept zooming around curves trying to pop it up on two wheels, he stuck his tongue so far down my throat he gagged me, and all he did was brag about how hot his ride was. Also he was a virgin, and couldn't stop bragging about that.

This is my date that was posted on myveryworstdate.com to make matters worse...we were both in the bridal party at my friend's wedding this past weekend....awkward! After I ended a long relationship, my best friend from college thought it would be a good idea to fix me up with her boyfriend’s childhood buddy because we were both wine connoisseurs. I agreed. The location of our first date was a wine cafe. It did not start well. Within five minutes of the date, he was already pointing out that I had a “terrible habit of biting my nails.” I was troubled by this critique but ignored it and the other small comments that danced on my nerves. After lunch, he suggested a walk. I’d had too many glasses of wine so I agreed even though I knew the date was going nowhere. En route, he asked if I would mind stopping at his old friend’s house for a minute. I didn’t mind especially since he came into town for the specific purpose of our date. We approached the house and rang the bell. An older couple answered the door, which totally confused me. It took me a while to realize that they were his ex-girlfriend’s parents, who clearly were not over my (apparently highly eligible) date. We sat at their outdoor bar (drinking beer mercifully!) for two whole hours discussing how he would one day marry their daughter and how wonderful their relationship had been. I have never felt more uncomfortable in my life. This dude still wants to know why I never called him again.

Worst.Date.Ever. Here's the abridged version: 1. He asked me to drive. I later found out it was because he had lost his license for 6 years - apparently 3 DUIs in a week will do that. 2. He drank his weight in alcohol and was wasted 15 minutes into the date. 3. By his 11th drink, he had shared numerous stories about his Minor League Baseball Playing, Playboy Bunny Dating, Drug Dealing Days. 4. When I finally (it was long over due) ended the date, he insisted on stopping by the bar for a shot of whiskey and a 6-pack to go. 5. He picked a fight with a random guy at the bar who talked to me. After picking this poor guy up by the scruff of his neck I walked out. The lunatic followed me and started to cry - apologizing for being so irrational. Then he begged me to give him a hug. Despite his relentless attempts to go out on another date, he never got a call from me again.

I went on a set up date a few months ago. He was a friend of a friend, and we had met a few times at the bar so I knew he wasn't a total creeper. We met at this really nice cajun restaurant and had a great date... until he announced at the end of the date that he had "forgotten his wallet" Really, does that ever happen in real life? So, I paid for his dinner and mine, and he never called again.

The only really awful experience was being with a guy who had to use the bathroom about every 10 minutes. And then he started acting REALLY weird. Found out later it was because he was in the bathroom doing drugs. I still don't know what kind, nor do I really care. But we certainly didn't talk again!

oh man, I went on a first date with a guy who got so drunk I had to call my friend to come pick me up. I felt awful because it was like at least a $200 dinner, too. (Mostly because of all the drinks he was ordering, though!) I went out with another guy who spent at least 15 minutes detailing how badly he had to use the restroom, and why, on our car ride to the restaurant. And the worst of all was this guy who told me a sob story about his ex on the first date and proceeded to tear up, pound his entire beer, and then start texting "someone" the rest of dinner. The worst part--he left me a vm the next day about how much fun he had no our date and he couldn't wait to see me again! I have some war stories from my single days.
