Amanda Seyfried as Linda Lovelace

Every starlet seems to want to take on porn star Linda Lovelace of Deep Throat fame, but at least judging from this image from upcoming biopic Lovelace, it looks like Amanda Seyfried is going to pull off the part quite well. Lindsay Lohan was originally slated for the sexy role in a competing film set to be out next year, Inferno: A Linda Lovelace Story, but then was dropped after her legal problems and replaced by Malin Akerman. The '70s porn star later went on to be an antipornography activist, saying she was forced into the industry by her first husband.

Sorry... what I mean to say is Elizabeth Taylor is not the original "It" girl... not by at least about 40 years.

The original "IT" girl is Clara Bow based after Elinor Glyn's "It" article which was later turned into a silent film to capitalize on Clara Bow's sex appeal without saying sex. "It" stared both Miss Bow and Elinor Glyn who pointed her out as having "it" thereby coining the phrase, "It" Girl.
