I've given you Halloween costume ideas if you're going the sexy route as well as the couples route, but what do you think of the whole dressing up as a couple concept? I've actually never done it before, but if you get creative, I think it could be really fun! Cliché costumes on the other hand, tend to be cheesy and just kind of annoying. Are you with me on this one? Where do you stand on dressing up on Halloween with your significant other in a couples costume?

We were going to go as different things but we decided to do Mario&Luigi last minute.
2Absolutely a great idea, I love it! Definitely a bonding experience, and a literal example of how a couple is more than just a sum of its parts.
3Oops... lost my comment.
I love coordinating our costumes! This year we did the cowboy and indian. Last year, pimp and ho
5If I were going on a Halloween party date...(he'd have to beg me for certain/hate halloween) we would be Pocahontas and John Smith.
6I think its cute! My best friend and her bf are going as Al & Peggy Bundy!
7my boyfriend and I are going as Myspace and Facebook
8It's corny.
9Ok, but I have to say to animatedpunk, that is a very creative idea. I'd like to see how you two pull it off.
10I've seen some really cheesy ones, but some really great ones...
Mary Poppins and Bert
Thumbalina and the Fairy Prince...
Sometimes doing 'couple' or 'group' costumes can be a lot of fun when you go out with a close group of friends, or it can bring you closer. I'm taking the little boy I baby sit trick-or-treating and I'm being David Bowie from The Labyrinth and he's being Toby, the little boy that gets kidnapped- if you've seen the movie, you'll get it. Haha.
But no, I think that if you do it right couple costumes can be great.
11ummmm professor and naughty schoolgirl!
12Okay...we went to an "adult only" party... "Me as a Kitty Cat & Him as a Pussy Inspector" It was a hoot! We won the prize for most humorous!
13I love all these couple ideas, AdorKablefae, that is SUCH a cute idea! toby was such an adorable baby!!
I think couple and group costumes can be so much fun! harry potter and ginny weasley, or ron and hermione would be cute, actually one of my favourite ideas was a family where the little boy dressed up like a crocodile and the parents dressed as zoo keepers. Too, too cute!
14Sometimes funny, usually tacky.
15If done right, I think it's a cute idea.
16I would love to do this but tonite its a girls night out for Hallows Eve..maybe next year
17we decided at the last minute to be a doctor and nurse
18i think he wanted to do the couple thing more than me!
I like couple costumes as long as there's some thought put into it - I get tired of seing the typical ones - doctor and naughty nurse, pimp and ho. We were going to go as Scully and Mulder, but the fact that the X-Files movie was sucky dampened out enthusiasm. I had to find a costume that still appeared professional, so I wore a blue dress and red heels, and braided my hair so I look like Dorothy (as long as you see the shoes, otherwise I just look a little Swiss Miss-y). Tonight I'm dressing up for him and we'r having our own little Halloween party...
19It can be fun, usually isn't. Like, say, pimp and ho. Yikes.
We've kicked around the idea of going as Mormons, or I as Sarah Palin and he as her baby wearing a bonnet and a t-shirt that reads "Down with Downs".
We'll probably just slap on some moustaches.
20Krradford - Thanks!! I'll try to post pictures
21our couple costumes would have been perfect if I had been able to go shopping earlier ): poops!
22i'm being a stewardess and i tried to convince him to be a pilot. but he's being julian from trailer park boys instead. which is too awesome for me to be upset about not matching.
23I think its cute. We're going as Vampire(me) and Victim (him). Its easy for him because he only has to tell people he's been bitten "somewhere" and dress like he always does, and I get to pick a goth costume (honestly not that different from my normal) to go with my fangs.
24Eh, I OD'd on the whole matchy-matchy thing in my sorority days when all our date parties had themes. Perfectly content to have my own costume, thank you!
25Incidentally, going as Spaghetti Cat from The Soup this year: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMyHuCVaRaE

27our costumes ended up being a huge hit! Strangers were wanting to take pictures of us because they loved the idea!
I think it's really fun if the couple does something creative. Also, you have to pick a costume that is realistic, as in both of you could look like the people you are trying to be. My boyfriend and I went as Wayne and Garth from Wayne's World this year, it turned out really well! lol

28In the background of the picture is the place where my husband proposed(we are from New Orleans). Earlier in the day we stopped at a little jewelry store, where I picked a gorgeous ring, not knowing what it would be used for. We went into the cathedral to enjoy the ambiance and art, and came out engaged. There is a fountain right outside, we threw pennies in and made a wish. Came true, we now have a lovely 3 1/2 baby Ava-Jolie.
St. Louis Cathedral in New Orleans
293 1/2 months lol. Only 1 baby so far, not 3.5
