What's Your Favorite Thing About Fall?

Pumpkin-spice lattes. Crisp air. Scarves, sweaters, and boots. Halloween parties and the anticipation of the holidays. These are a few of my favorite things come Fall.

Fall is a season for cozying up with your mate or hosting dinner parties for your friends filled with delicious interpretations of squash, cider, or warm soups. What are you most looking forward to about the season that begins today?

The falling leaves, the cooler weather, football, Halloween, Thanksgiving, apples, cider, Pumpkin Beer...most wonderful season of the year...

Squash, squash, squash, cool temps = more cuddling, no more sweating as soon as I step out of the shower, pretty leaves, and HALLOWEEN.

the end of too hot weather, my birthday, Halloween, apple picking, cider donuts, fall leaves, bringing out my fall/winter wardrobe, dark nail polish, and my annual pilgramage to a far away mall with my sister to start our holiday shopping! Definitely my favorite season!

Mind you I miss actual falls. I live in Southern CA now (for the past 7 years) and they are nothing like those that I was born and raised on in Philadelphia. But, I take what I can get. Crisp weather, anything pumpkin, jeans, boots, scarves, pea coats, Halloween movies/candy, early darkness, hot chocolate, and fallen leaves.

Beautiful leaves, soft golden light, longer nights, pumpkin spice lattes, sweaters, crisp air, scarves, darker makeup, and delicious foodstuffs (pumpkins, squash, cranberries, cinnamon, nutmeg, etc!). Also, Halloween and carving pumpkins is so much fun :)

Gloves and hot drinks. And knowing how to decorate my house! Heh I can never really think of anything to do in summer, but in fall you've got pumpkins and pressed leaves and all that.

Boots! Sweaters! Cute little jackets, too. Also, I just love the look and smell of fall. The different colored leaves are just gorgeous, and the way they crunch underfoot is delightful. :) Oh, and my birthday! Lol
