Of course research shows that those same skills that would make women good at running Wall Street (i.e. they're less volatile and not as easily influenced by colleagues/subordinates/supervisors in decision making), are what keeps them from moving up professionally... so while we (as women) might be great at running Wall Street, we don't move up to the position where we would have that opportunity to make those decisions.

Very interesting article. From a general view of things I think whether it's government or finance the world would be a lot better off with a majority of women at the helm. Men are driven by a very competitive drive and that's fine but women seem to have a natural way of tempering that characteristic while bringing along their natural maternalistic approach to things.
