What Love-Life Resolutions Will You Try to Keep in 2010?

This year you might resolve to try online dating, give men who aren't your type a chance, never fake an orgasm again, be a better listener, or keep a weekly date night with your long-term partner. What are some of the love-life related resolutions you hope to keep this year?

I really want to start dating this year. I always find excuses not to date. So this year I definitely want to balance my school life with my dating life, that I have completely neglected since I was thirteen ( and I'm a junior in college by the way). I'm very comfortable being single (an lonely), which is not always a good thing; I need to be able to co-exist with another human being.

i'm a single 25 yr old and i really want to work on being a happy single person. i feel like i get so down on myself for not having a partner, but really...its ok. he is out there somewhere. i'm terrified of doing things alone b/c i'm alone. this will sound silly to some, but i really want to go to a bar for an after work drink by myself and i want to go to a movie by myself too. i'm just tired of missing things i want to do just b/c i don't have someone to do them with!

To be willing to adapt to the Changes that will be happening this year when we get our own home, handling situations rationally, not doubting each other, maintaining low tones, and always staying faithful to him no matter what.

I'm going to make a conscious effort to try and get to know my boyfriends friends because I love him and would love to spend the rest of my life with him, but his friends intimidate the hell out of me.

Well said Spacekatgal.. I think that is spot on. I am looking forward to transitioning from live in finance to wife this year :) I would also like to intiate date night, as soon as we have a little extra cash available.

I think it's normal in a healthy marriage to aspire to be a better wife. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a good wife already - but there are things I'd like to do better. I'd like to lessen the number of days where I'm b!tchy to my husband. I'd like to have more nights of really putting an A+ effort into having a good sex life - you know, lingerie, giving him a massage, cooking him dinner. Those are my two strongest goals.

Be single for at least a year. I need to work on myself and process what I have learned and re-evaluate people and relationships. I need to have my fun. I am at my prime!

I'm resolving to be more supportive of my husband and to not bottle up my concerns. In the past, I've had a habit of getting worried about something, not discussing it with him while constantly thinking about it, and then finally blowing up on him and he has no idea where I was coming from. Being supportive does not me I can't voice my concerns or fears. That's something I wanted to work on this year.
