Hopefully not that! But, whether you go for the politically correct "significant other" or the standard "boyfriend," tell us what you call your ________.

Married now, so of course husband. But if dating I think I would call the exclusive person "my guy" or "my man". I like "Number 1" too ;).

I introduce him as my husband but when we're talking to each other I refer to him as "my love" and he refers to me as "my angel"

I pretty much stick to boyfriend now, but earlier on, I was really into "gentleman friend." Sometimes I also call him the houseboy.

When we started dating and he wasn't officially my boyfriend, I called him my man piece. It kind of stuck so my friends refer to him that way. Formally though, I introduce him as my boyfriend.

I call him Schatzi when we're together and when I talk about him it's either boyfriend oder husband. Sometimes boyfriend just doesn't seem to cut it when talking to strangers...we have been together for some time, have a kid, share a house...the guy I dated for four months when I was 15 was also my boyfriend...I just want to make clear that we are in a committed long-time relationship.

I call him "My Babes" to anybody I'm comfortable with. I'll refer to him as my boyfriend in more formal settings.

Everything I love has multiple nicknames, the last boyfriend of 4 years was Babycakes. He called me Starflower. Boyfriend is the title he gets for other people though.
