To get you ready for Black Friday and Cyber Monday, we reviewed gift ideas for your new boyfriend or potential in-laws. Now that you've done some browsing, I want to know what's on your wish list short list. Maybe you prefer romantic jewelry that shows your boyfriend's literal investment in the relationship. Or you might be ready to turn the page on traditional books and appreciate a useful gift like a Kindle. We've already gone over the hall of fame of bad gifts from boyfriends, but now's your chance to share: what do you want to see under the tree this year?

This is going to sound pathetic, but the only thing I want for Christmas is my life back (with my ex). I know I'm not getting anything material wise this year, my family just buys for the kids (my nieces and nephews) and I have no boyfriend. I have a feeling this is going to be the worst Christmas to date for me. So I don't leave this thread being a Debbie Downer :P, I would really like a check to pay off me credit card debt. Maybe I can hope for a winning scratcher ticket. :)

A visit from the Cleaning Fairy! My brother has a gift for cleaning house. Seriously. Every once in a while, usually as a holiday gift, he'll wait until I'm gone and then clean my house top to bottom. It's the best gift EVER!!

gloves and a scarf.sounds boring, i know. but i'm talking about the kind of gloves, softest leather, that feels like "ahhhh" every time you put them on. and the scarf would need to be cashmere.since no one has asked what i want; just a guess that i won't find this under the tree.maybe i'll buy them myself at an after christmas sale :naughty_elves:

It's so basic, and sad, but I want a bed. I was lucky to get out of my last relationship with my safety & sanity, so I left the bed. I am now kind of financially strapped, and stuck pathetically in a little twin bed. Sad!

I like gifts that pamper. Pedicures, massages, and facials are great. I want something I won't buy for myself. An ipad would be great, but I neglected to ask for it.
