What Can You Put Obama's Face On?

When I asked a while back whether you've bought Obamabilia (Obama-themed products) 67 percent of CitizenSugar readers said that spending money on that sort of stuff was not their style. Well that hasn't stopped independent vendors from trying to cash in on the president-elect's brand. As you can imagine the Obama market is hitting its peak right now, thanks to the inauguration. Check out which products have spiced themselves up with a little Obama flavor.

What's worse though is that the display box was a box of 100 and there were like 5 left, sad. Supposedly people can't afford food, but they can afford Obama memorabilia.

My HUbby came home yesterday with Obama trading cards... He bought them because he thought it was funny. I told him not to open them because if he fails miserably all this hype will be priceless. He opened them and they were ridiculous.

I like the guy but I'm just not into the memorabilia thing at all - saying that I can totally understand why people would be, its not just a presidency but a precedent being set in America's history.Seriously though, its just like the Queen's teacup stuff in the UK, or her mom's 100 birthday (RIP)...just not into that at all myself.Especially if it involves contraceptives... that's just freaky!

"but the fact that they're selling t-shirts all the way over here just goes to show you how awesome Obama really is." I think it shows how big of a fad Obama is. It has yet to be determined how awesome he is, or his presidency will be. For America's sake, I hope he is.

I live in NZ and for Christmas my best friend bought me an Obama singlet. Needless to say, I love it.I do think Obama water may be going a little too far, but the fact that they're selling t-shirts all the way over here just goes to show you how awesome Obama really is.

I was at Walgreens this morning and they had Obama collector plates. Like the ones they've been advertising the Parade and other magazines. I had to laugh... this Obama memorabilia is getting a little crazy.
