Chocolates, roses, and candy, oh my! Finding the perfect gift for your Valentine can be a daunting task, but on a day meant to celebrate the love you feel for your partner, sometimes the most memorable gifts are small and simple and heartfelt. One of the best presents I ever received was actually the card attached to the gift, which I still keep in a box filled with other important keepsakes.

I think Paris is very romantic and special. I lived in Milan for a while and to me that is not near as "romantic"... but it is what you make of it... right, KWM!? :)

Paris.....nothing special. I'd prefer italy or LOL even Spain but Paris? bleugho, been to Paris, nothing special, I;d prefer venice or Milan...now thats something. My funniest Valentines was someone in my class, it was the cute guy giving me a card, I've still got it!!! (alas no boyfriend). I quite fancy a romantic weekend in Prague or somewhere like that!

Mine was just today. I'm single, so I commented to my best guy friend that I would have to buy myself some truffles to open on Valentine's day. Wow, Paris. What a great memory, KWM. Lucky you! The first time a guy brought me a dozen roses was for Valentine's Day and I just loved that. That was special.

I am lucky because my birthday is the day before Valentine's Day, so I am usually treated to two days of celebrating! My favorite gift was two years ago when my husband took me to Paris for a long birthday/valentine's day weekend. What could be better than Valentine's Day in Paris?
