Another Guy Proposes to Girlfriend With Some Movie Magic
The soon-to-be fiancé in this video isn't the first guy to propose in the form of a movie preview he created. In fact, he isn't even the first to bring the DIY trailer beyond YouTube and onto the big screen by convincing a movie theater to play the trailer. The man behind last year's viral Muppet proposal managed the same thing. But Matt — who made the latest version of the "greatest marriage proposal EVER!!!" — added a level of suspense and action I haven't seen before.
His girlfriend was at the movies with someone else, when suddenly she recognized her dad's voice, and then her boyfriend's asking her father for her hand. Then she, and the audience, had to figure out how Matt was going to get to the theater to get down on one knee. Check it out.
