Meet Knut. Okay, stop drooling already. He's become of a bit of a celebrity these days cuz his deadbeat momma decided she's not down with parenthood. She's abandoned little Knut and has left all the diaper changing to Berlin zookeepers instead. Now, animal rights activists want to put poor Knut to sleep. That's what this little orphan needs--a death sentence! But don't worry, Knut is safe.

1I saw this on a news clip elsewhere on the site, it was ONE guy who calls himself an animal rights activist who thought it was shameful to raise a wildborn animal in a zoo and thought people shouldn' have interfered.
I consider myself a low-key animal crusader and I (as well as MOST animal rights activists) think that humans have done so much damage to animals in this world that if we can do a bit of good in a situation like this one, we should!
Long live Knut! He's a sweet baby and is a great mascot for protecting the environment and animals of all types.
