The jewelry corporation was officially founded 175 years ago tomorrow, but its inaugural store opened on Sept. 14, 1837, at 259 Broadway in New York City — making $4.98 in sales that first day! Tiffany is known the world-round for its luxury goods and iconic diamonds, thanks in part to advertising.
