Turn On or Turn Off: Mustaches

George Clooney seems to be sporting a mustache these days, and it changes his look completely! I don't think there's any denying that he's still incredibly attractive, but I've got to say, I'm not a fan of his lip accessory. It might just be me, but mustaches seem to make guys look a little smarmy. I prefer my men cleanly shaven, but what about you? Are mustaches a turn on? A turn off? Or does it completely depend on who's wearing it?

i love a bit of scruff but i DO NOT like a stache on a man. i don't get it - it's just not an attractive thing on most people. i can do a goatee and i can do the little soul patch (on SOME guys)..but a stache - NO THANK YOU

Ewww, total turn off no matter what. I like beards, other scruffy-ness, etc. but no mustaches at all...EVER. lol :)

I would find a mustache on a guy a total turn-off. It's too ironic and sleezy-looking on a guy under 40. I do like scruff on a guy though. Makes them look a little rugged and sexy. Only certain people have the right kind of face to pull it off. For example, I couldn't imagine my dad without his Tom Selleck mustache. But he's been wearing it since the 70s and strangely my mom hated the one time we coerced him into shaving it off. Different generation, different tastes. ;)

Haha I've always found mustaches really... comical, you know? Reminds me of the 70s porn stars rocking the mustaches. My personal preference is clean-shaven or a bit of scruff, but my guy has a goatee and it looks hot... besides if he wasn't rocking that goatee he'd look sooo young, haha. He's a babyface.

OMG, Fallen is right, Tom Selleck is about the only man alive who can pull off a 'stache, and even he look better clean shaven. :lol

I like scruff on guys because it accentuates the angles of their cheeks and jaw. As for the 'stache- only certain men can pull of certain types of 'staches. Tom Selleck used to be the hotness.

I don't care if they have facial hair...stubble is fine with me (even sexy at times)I even don't mind beards(as long as they're groomed!!) I'm used to facial hair though, so maybe I'm biased? What I don't like is just plain mustaches though...too old fashioned for my taste.

9 times out of ten I prefer a clean shaven guy who mixes it up with a sexy 5 o'clock shadow now and then. I think a FEW guys actually look cute in an indie sort of way with a neat, trimmed mustache. A beard is NEVER, EVER attractive to me.

i like smooth skin too and the mustache thing does not really fit George Clooney well, my math teacher is the version of Patrick Dempsey but a little scruffy and he is so hot!!!!1

It all depends on who is wearing it. Some people look good and some people don't. Some people look bad, but I mean, it is George Clooney. I think his mustache would grow on me, no pun intended.

I dont like mustaches at all. My boyfriend is the only guy I have ever found attractive with facial hair. But he'll just go without shaving for a few days and have a little scruff all over, not just a mustache...ick.

I don't like just a mustache but a mustache with a goatee is hot. My man has one and its not scratchy unless its short and stubbly. Clean shaven is nice though....

Big turnoff! I'm not a fan of facial hair at all. I like my men to be clean shaven. My bf just decided he wants to keep facial hair for a while and I'm not too happy about.

Awesome on Tom Selleck!!! I do like facial hair, but unlee it's Tom, I would prefer it to be neat, almost stubble but not, very well trimmed. It looks great and really shows if a man cares about his look, cause' if it's just growing wild he doesn't have any pride in himself and probably not in any other aspects of his life either.

Some men look good with a mustache and know how to wear them. I know this might sound weird, but my dad is a handsome man and always has a nice, well-groomed mustache and he definitely DOES NOT look "smarmy" or sleazy. But my boyfriend looks better without one.
