After the rise of the celebrity chef, men fell into society's cooking line by taking up the hobby like it's snowboarding. Now a magazine for men, called Beef, has launched in Germany, solidifying cooking's place as a socially acceptable masculine hobby. We could thank Top Chef or the manly meat trend (brining, smoking, foraging), and that would probably be accurate. But would it be if there weren't something intrinsically hot about the kitchen?

Most definitely!
1My boyfriend is a beginner in the kitchen (hey, he grew up with an Italian mother AND grandmother in the house .. he never had to learn, lol) .. but he's trying really hard to learn while we're in college. It can be a real turn on for us to cook together.
And he always gets riled up when I'm in the kitchen, lol!
2It isn't even about how well he can cook a dish that does it for me but just the fact that he does try. Of course I just love to watch him! And cooking together is enjoyable too!
3To watch a guy cook is soooo hot!
4I'm not sure why..
I don't like cooking- as a matter of fact I hate cooking- so a guy that cooks is definitely a turn on!
5I think a guy that is a great cook is super sexy. Like, super sexy. Haha. But except for a select number of baked goods, I'm a horrible cook and I hate doing it (you should see me try to fry an egg). So a guy whipping up a nice dinner is very sexy... especially if he looks cute in the kitchen
6I like sharing the cooking with my husband. I am really greatful for the evenings he cooks.
The only thing that is not a turn on is my husband's ability to dirty every counter in the process and use twice as many dishes to cook the same meal that I do, ha ha.
7Oh yeah!!! *wiggling eyebrows*
8Hahah! "Beef" that is genius! Definitely a turn on.
9I wish he'd like to cook. He's been telling me he's a great cook for the last two years now, but to this day he still owes me proof!
10It's a turn on although I'd love it if he enjoyed cleaning more.
11Its a turn on. My bf cooks really well.
12I picked yes, but honestly, I'd rather he clean. I love to cook, so I'm cool with doing it. But when I come home and he's done both...wink wink, nudge nudge
13When the man cooks for the wife, it's good for the family life, and for him as well. I do most of the cooking for my wife and children. I blog about it at www.stayatstovedad.com. If you know of a dad who cooks, I'd love to hear from you.
14Not for me, at all. I had an emotionally abusive boyfriend who cooked frequently, so when I see my boyfriend working in the kitchen, that rush of affection brings back some really negative memories.
15Just wanted to share something me and my boyfriend do every week. Every Thursday we take turns cooking dinner for one another and then the other one cleans up at the end. It's really fun as we usually try making some really unexpected recipes to impress each other. We've been doing it for about a year now and it has really added some great variety to our meals each week - plus we're becoming great cooks!
