nguidjol, you can join in our pools for what the next patronizing tip will be! I think several of us have our money on it being something along the lines of "volunteer!" to show us that even though the life of the single woman is extremely pathetic, it could be worse. (who are we kidding? It couldn't be worse. Being single is *so* much worse than anything else in this world)

^^I don't think ACTUAL single people are freaking out - it's pretty much the articles. It is just one day. I don't see any reason for people to freak out. Though, I can totally get behind the party idea.

"Surviving Valentines Day" Single people really need to calm down about this ONE day. I mean it's not the end of the world if you don't get a box of chocolate, jewelry, and a classy dinner. And single women don't always need sex toys to get by in life when they don't have a man.

ALL RIGHT! I finally win the pool [I think]. Sex toy party? The friends I do have...we're not THAT close! Also, why must it be "oh, we don't NEED REAL MEN - we've got vibrators and dildos!!!!" Not empowering. at all. :/
