Microwave my tea? No way! Having a cup of tea isn't just about drinking the hot, soothing liquid, it's about the whole experience of actually making your tea.
Tea time is about taking some time for yourself, choosing the perfect aroma of tea to suit your senses while you wait for your kettle to quietly whistle as it warms. I love to cup the warm mug between my hands and smell the sweet steam as my tea bag steeps. Having friends over for tea is a great way to entertain or you can enjoy it by yourself while curling up with a good movie or book.

7Irish babe, I didn't knwo you loved tea kettles! Ever since Jim got Pam (The Office) that beautiful green porcelain tea kettle I've been dying for one. I too love tea kettles, especially the kitchen aid one (aqua blue)LOVELY!
8Wait — you think tea is about "the whole experience of making your tea" but you use teabags? Are you insane? You aren't making tea at all unless you're using a teapot and one of the many looseleaf varieties you keep on hand as a matter of course. Because you if you love tea, you would never drink it bagged. (Or bruise the milk! I bet you bruise the milk, too, don't you! George Orwell is turning in his grave somewhere.)
